It's true - the colors on the baking cup remain unchanged after baking. It's incredible, I wish I had found out about these sooner. The secret is that each baking cup is lined with foil and that prevents grease and other ingredients from seeping through and dulling the color of the cup. These cups are considerably thicker that what I am used to, which to me indicates better quality.The only negative I can find with this product is that when I bake muffins from scratch, the baking cup pulls away from the muffin so that you can pick up a muffin, turn it upside down, and it will actually fall out of the baking cup cleanly every time. I made some muffins for friends and I didn't like the "pull-away" look that the cups gave. It looked like the baking cups were overtired and were trying to lay down, haha. However, when I use a store-bought cake mix to make cupcakes, the baking cup doesn't pull away even a little bit and looks marvelous.I have bought these in many different colors and will continue to purchase them if the price stays reasonable. Check your big box crafting stores for these cups as the price there can be a little cheaper sometimes.
