Item Info

When using IF YOU CARE Parchment Paper and Baking Paper no greasing is necessary. The paper has been coated with silicone  – a non-organic natural product – on both sides. Many parchment papers are coated with quilon. Quilon is a chemical containing chrome – a heavy metal – which when incinerated becomes toxic and leaves trace elements. The reason for the majority of parchment paper to be quilon-coated is the cost, which is substantially lower than silicone. So, in order to be , the paper should be silicone-coated.

Customer Reviews

I love these baking cups
R. Anderson

It may seem like a lot of muffin cups to buy at once, but these are absolutely the best ones to use. Not only are they one small step in saving the environment, but they work better than regular ones. Muffins come out so much more easily. I like the look of the little brown boxes. Some of mine will be used for small gifts for family and friends. I live in a remote area now and don't have access to stores that carry specialty items like these so I have to buy in quantity from the internet. I was so happy to find them available at Amazon.

quality and economical cups, great for portion/ fat content control
ahstrmn

These are the sturdiest cake papers I have come across in a long time, yet they aren't so hard that you can't pull them off easily. Having a nice neutral color is refreshing as adults, but when I want to decorate them, they go with anything I want!! My only regret is that the size is the TOP of the cup, not the bottom, they fit in the standard 12-cup pans wonderfully. (I was looking for the larger ones.) These are so economical and you don't have to grease which is nice for calorie/fat counting. Also, the product stays fresher and you have great portion control.

Muffins don't stick to the paper!
C. Cooper

Another plus to these papers is that muffins don't stick to them, even when you've just taken them out of the oven--something I really appreciate as someone who makes muffins every week.
